AN ACT

MAKING AN APPROPRIATION TO THE BOARD OF REGENTS OF NEW MEXICO STATE UNIVERSITY FOR THE NEW MEXICO WATER RESOURCES RESEARCH INSTITUTE.

BE IT ENACTED BY THE LEGISLATURE OF THE STATE OF NEW MEXICO:

     SECTION 1. APPROPRIATION.--Two million dollars ($2,000,000) is appropriated from the general fund to the board of regents of New Mexico state university for expenditure in fiscal year 2015 and subsequent fiscal years to support the operations of the New Mexico water resources research institute. Any unexpended or unencumbered balance remaining at the end of a fiscal year shall not revert to the general fund.
