SENATE BILL 56
has had it under consideration and reports same with recommendation that it DO PASS, amended as follows:
1. On page 57, line 17, strike "59A-8A-4" and insert in lieu thereof "59A-8A-5".
2. On page 60, line 4, after "means", insert ", on or after the operative date of the valuation manual,".
3. On page 63, line 18, after "benefits", insert "issued prior to the operative date of the valuation manual".
4. On page 95, lines 10 and 11, remove the brackets and line-through, and on line 11, strike "the appointed".
5. On page 100, line 23, strike "(3)" and insert in lieu thereof "(4)".
6. On page 131, line 19, after "rate", insert "per annum for a policy issued in a calendar year".
7. On page 131, line 20, strike "for a policy issued".
8. On page 131, line 21, strike ", the nonforfeiture", strike line 22 in its entirety and on line 23, strike "calendar year".
9. On page 132, line 2, after "percent", insert "; provided, however, that the nonforfeiture interest rate per annum shall not be less than four percent".
10. On page 132, line 3, strike "for a policy issued".
11. On page 132, line 4, strike ", the valuation manual".
12. On page 132, line 5, after "be", strike the remainder of the line, strike line 6 in its entirety and insert in lieu thereof "determined by the valuation manual;".,
and thence referred to the JUDICIARY COMMITTEE.
