AN ACT

MAKING AN APPROPRIATION TO ENHANCE AND EXPAND FOSTER GRANDPARENT AND SENIOR COMPANION PROGRAMS IN CERTAIN RURAL AREAS.

 

 

BE IT ENACTED BY THE LEGISLATURE OF THE STATE OF NEW MEXICO:

     SECTION 1. APPROPRIATION.--Seventy-five thousand dollars ($75,000) is appropriated from the general fund to the aging and long-term services department for expenditure in fiscal year 2015 to enhance and expand foster grandparent and senior companion programs into rural areas in Rio Arriba, San Miguel and Guadalupe counties. Any unexpended or unencumbered balance remaining at the end of fiscal year 2015 shall revert to the general fund.
