HOUSE BILL 238,as amended

has had it under consideration and reports same with recommendation that it DO PASS, amended as follows:

     1. Strike House Judiciary Committee Amendment 1.

     2. On page 3, line 18, strike "thirty-five" and insert in lieu thereof "ten".

     3. On page 3, line 19, strike "eighty-five" and insert in lieu thereof "ninety".

     4. On page 5, line 5, strike the closing quotation marks.

     5. On page 5, between lines 5 and 6, insert the following new subsection:

          "I. Reduction or denial of compensation benefits authorized under this section shall not affect payments of benefits to the dependents of a deceased worker pursuant to Section 52-1-46 NMSA 1978."".
