AN ACT

MAKING AN APPROPRIATION TO THE PUBLIC EDUCATION DEPARTMENT TO FUND THE BLACK STUDENT UNION PROGRAM OF ALBUQUERQUE PUBLIC SCHOOLS.

BE IT ENACTED BY THE LEGISLATURE OF THE STATE OF NEW MEXICO:

     SECTION 1. APPROPRIATION.--Thirty thousand dollars ($30,000) is appropriated from the general fund to the public education department for expenditure in fiscal year 2016 to fund the black student union program in the Albuquerque public schools in Bernalillo county. Any unexpended or unencumbered balance remaining at the end of fiscal year 2016 shall revert to the general fund.
