    Your TRANSPORTATION AND PUBLIC WORKS COMMITTEE, to whom has been referred

HOUSE BILL 510

has had it under consideration and reports same with recommendation that it DO PASS, amended as follows:

1. On page 1, line 20, strike "of manufacture".

     2. On page 1, lines 22 and 23, strike "in outward appearance as described by the manufacturer in published information".

     3. On page 2, line 21, strike "model year" and insert in lieu thereof "year the replica car chassis and body kit was manufactured".

     4. On page 2, between lines 21 and 22, insert the following new subsection:

          "D. In a manner determined by the department, the certificate of title and registration of a replica car shall prominently display the fact that it is a replica car and the date of its manufacture. If determined by the department to be necessary, it may assign a vehicle identification number to a replica car.".

     5. Reletter the succeeding subsections accordingly.
