AN ACT

MAKING AN APPROPRIATION TO THE BOARD OF REGENTS OF THE UNIVERSITY OF NEW MEXICO FOR A COMMUNITY LAND GRANT ETHNOHISTORY PROJECT.

BE IT ENACTED BY THE LEGISLATURE OF THE STATE OF NEW MEXICO:

     SECTION 1. APPROPRIATION.--Two hundred four thousand dollars ($204,000) is appropriated from the general fund to the board of regents of the university of New Mexico for expenditure in fiscal year 2016 for the southwest Hispanic research institute to fund a video record history of Spanish and Mexican community land grants with a focus on their organizational development since 1990. Any unexpended or unencumbered balance remaining at the end of fiscal year 2016 shall revert to the general fund.
