AN ACT

MAKING AN APPROPRIATION FOR MULTIJURISDICTIONAL COMPUTER-AIDED DISPATCH COMMUNICATIONS AND COMPUTER SYSTEMS FOR EMERGENCY AND FIRST RESPONDER VEHICLES IN TORRANCE COUNTY.

BE IT ENACTED BY THE LEGISLATURE OF THE STATE OF NEW MEXICO:

     SECTION 1. APPROPRIATION.--One hundred fifty thousand dollars ($150,000) is appropriated from the general fund to the local government division of the department of finance and administration for expenditure in fiscal year 2016 to equip emergency and first responder vehicles with computer-aided dispatch communications and computer systems to enhance interagency and interjurisdictional responses to emergency and law enforcement incidents throughout Torrance county. Any unexpended or unencumbered balance remaining at the end of fiscal year 2016 shall revert to the general fund.
