AN ACT

MAKING AN APPROPRIATION TO NEW MEXICO STATE UNIVERSITY FOR THE COOPERATIVE EXTENSION SERVICE.

BE IT ENACTED BY THE LEGISLATURE OF THE STATE OF NEW MEXICO:

     SECTION 1. APPROPRIATION.--Three hundred seventy-seven thousand dollars ($377,000) is appropriated from the general fund to the board of regents of New Mexico state university for expenditure in fiscal year 2017 and subsequent fiscal years to support the cooperative extension service. Any unexpended or unencumbered balance remaining at the end of a fiscal year shall not revert to the general fund.
