FOR THE LEGISLATIVE HEALTH AND HUMAN SERVICES COMMITTEE

AN ACT

MAKING AN APPROPRIATION TO THE BOARD OF REGENTS OF THE UNIVERSITY OF NEW MEXICO FOR THE HEALTH SCIENCES CENTER TO FUND THE PREPARATION OF AN ANNUAL REPORT BY THE NEW MEXICO HEALTH CARE WORKFORCE COMMITTEE.

BE IT ENACTED BY THE LEGISLATURE OF THE STATE OF NEW MEXICO:

     SECTION 1. APPROPRIATION.--Three hundred thousand dollars ($300,000) is appropriated from the general fund to the board of regents of the university of New Mexico for expenditure in fiscal year 2017 for the health sciences center to fund the New Mexico health care workforce committee's preparation of its 2016 annual report. Any unexpended or unencumbered balance remaining at the end of fiscal year 2017 shall revert to the general fund.
