AN ACT

MAKING AN APPROPRIATION FOR PLANNING, DESIGN AND STUDIES REQUIRED TO RENOVATE MORPHY LAKE DAM.

BE IT ENACTED BY THE LEGISLATURE OF THE STATE OF NEW MEXICO:

     SECTION 1. APPROPRIATION.--Three million fifty thousand dollars ($3,050,000) is appropriated from the general fund to the office of the state engineer for expenditure in fiscal year 2017 for planning, design and flood hazard studies required to renovate Morphy Lake dam. Any unexpended or unencumbered balance remaining at the end of fiscal year 2017 shall revert to the general fund.
