AN ACT

MAKING AN APPROPRIATION TO THE HUMAN SERVICES DEPARTMENT TO OBTAIN MATCHING MEDICAID FUNDS TO INCREASE RATES FOR INTERMEDIATE CARE FACILITIES FOR PERSONS WITH INTELLECTUAL DISABILITIES.

BE IT ENACTED BY THE LEGISLATURE OF THE STATE OF NEW MEXICO:

     SECTION 1. APPROPRIATION.--Two hundred fifty thousand dollars ($250,000) is appropriated from the general fund to the human services department for expenditure in fiscal year 2017 as the state's share to obtain matching medicaid funding to increase rates for intermediate care facilities for persons with intellectual disabilities. Any unexpended or unencumbered balance remaining at the end of fiscal year 2017 shall revert to the general fund.
