    Your APPROPRIATIONS AND FINANCE COMMITTEE, to whom has been referred

HOUSE BILL 8

has had it under consideration and reports same with recommendation that it DO PASS, amended as follows:

     1. On page 5, line 16, strike "one million dollars ($1,000,000)" and insert in lieu thereof "two million dollars ($2,000,000)".

     2. On page 6, line 16, strike "three million dollars ($3,000,000)" and insert in lieu thereof "six million dollars ($6,000,000)".

     3. On page 10, line 8, strike "three million dollars ($3,000,000)" and insert in lieu thereof "five million dollars ($5,000,000)".

     4. On page 10, line 12, strike "and".

     5. On page 10, line 15, strike the period and insert in lieu thereof a semicolon.

     6. On page 10, between lines 15 and 16, insert the following new paragraphs:

                "(45) two million five hundred thousand dollars ($2,500,000) is transferred from the art in public places fund;

                (46) one million dollars ($1,000,000) is transferred from the workers' compensation administration fund;

                (47) three hundred thousand dollars ($300,000) is transferred from the trail safety fund; and

                (48) ten million dollars ($10,000,000) is transferred from the legislative retirement fund.".

     7. On page 11, lines 7 and 8, strike "ten million dollars ($10,000,000)" and insert in lieu thereof "fourteen million five hundred thousand dollars ($14,500,000)".

    8. On page 11, lines 17 through 22, strike Subsection D in its entirety.
