AN ACT

MAKING AN APPROPRIATION TO THE LOCAL GOVERNMENT DIVISION OF THE DEPARTMENT OF FINANCE AND ADMINISTRATION FOR CERTAIN PROGRAMS AND PROJECTS AT THE AFRICAN AMERICAN PERFORMING ARTS CENTER IN BERNALILLO COUNTY.

BE IT ENACTED BY THE LEGISLATURE OF THE STATE OF NEW MEXICO:

     SECTION 1. APPROPRIATION.--Two hundred thousand dollars ($200,000) is appropriated from the general fund to the local government division of the department of finance and administration for expenditure in fiscal year 2018 for the African American performing arts center in Bernalillo county to provide scholastic and technological programs and projects that advance research and to preserve the intellectual and cultural history of African Americans. Any unexpended or unencumbered balance remaining at the end of fiscal year 2018 shall revert to the general fund.
