AN ACT

MAKING AN APPROPRIATION TO THE DEPARTMENT OF HEALTH TO PROVIDE FOR CANCER SURVIVORSHIP SERVICES.

BE IT ENACTED BY THE LEGISLATURE OF THE STATE OF NEW MEXICO:

     SECTION 1. APPROPRIATION.--Two hundred fifty thousand dollars ($250,000) is appropriated from the general fund to the department of health for expenditure in fiscal year 2019 to fund the provision of cancer survivorship services, including community-based education, practical and emotional support services and lodging for cancer patients. Any unexpended or unencumbered balance remaining at the end of fiscal year 2019 shall revert to the general fund.
