AN ACT

MAKING AN APPROPRIATION TO THE CHILDREN, YOUTH AND FAMILIES DEPARTMENT TO FUND DOMESTIC VIOLENCE SERVICES THROUGHOUT THE STATE.

BE IT ENACTED BY THE LEGISLATURE OF THE STATE OF NEW MEXICO:

     SECTION 1. APPROPRIATION.--Three million five hundred thousand dollars ($3,500,000) is appropriated from the general fund to the children, youth and families department for expenditure in fiscal year 2019 to fund domestic violence services and training throughout the state and to provide for reimbursement for the services of domestic violence service providers at providers' increased rates. Any unexpended or unencumbered balance remaining at the end of fiscal year 2019 shall revert to the general fund.
