Mr. President:
Your CONSERVATION COMMITTEE, to whom has been referred
HOUSE BILL 315, as amended
has had it under consideration and reports same with recommendation that it DO PASS, amended as follows:
1. On pages 1 and 2, strike Section 2 in its entirety.
2. Renumber the succeeding sections accordingly.
3. On page 3, between lines 8 and 9, insert the following new subsection:
"E. "immediate family member" means the spouse, parent, sibling or child of the owner or manager of an agricultural business; a person to whom the owner or manager of an agricultural business stands in loco parentis; or any other person living in the household of the owner or manager of an agricultural business and related to the owner or manager of an agricultural business by blood or marriage;".
4. Reletter the succeeding subsections accordingly.
5. On page 3, line 11, after the semicolon, insert "and".
6. On page 3, line 13, strike "; and" and insert in lieu thereof a period.
7. On page 3, lines 14 through 17, strike Subsection G in its entirety.
8. On page 4, line 11, after "interns", strike the remainder of the line, strike all of line 12, strike line 13 through "business" and insert in lieu thereof "; provided that an immediate family member shall not be eligible to qualify as an intern".
