AN ACT

MAKING AN APPROPRIATION TO THE CULTURAL AFFAIRS DEPARTMENT TO SUPPORT SCHOOLS PARTICIPATING IN THE NATIONAL HISTORY DAY PROGRAM.

BE IT ENACTED BY THE LEGISLATURE OF THE STATE OF NEW MEXICO:

     SECTION 1. APPROPRIATION.--One hundred fifty thousand dollars ($150,000) is appropriated from the general fund to the library services program of the cultural affairs department for expenditure in fiscal year 2020 to enable and support schools participating in the national history day program. Any unexpended or unencumbered balance remaining at the end of fiscal year 2020 shall revert to the general fund.
