HOUSE BILL 423

has had it under consideration and reports same with recommendation that it DO PASS, amended as follows:

1. On page 2, line 5, after "employs", insert ", on a

full-time, part-time or temporary basis,".

     2. On page 2, line 13, strike "and".

     3. On page 2, line 17, after the semicolon, insert "and".

     4. On page 2, between lines 17 and 18, insert the following new subparagraph:

                     "(c) that the principal purpose of the entity is the provision of services for the care and maintenance of sick or indigent persons;".

     5. On page 2, between lines 21 and 22, insert the following new subsection:

          "E. "indigent person" means a person who is a member of a household that has a gross income of less than two hundred percent of the level of income that defines poverty by household size as published annually in the federal register by the United States department of health and human services;".

     6. Reletter succeeding subsections accordingly.
