AN ACT

MAKING AN APPROPRIATION TO THE ADMINISTRATIVE OFFICE OF THE COURTS TO FUND THE CONVENING OF A TASK FORCE ON FAMILY REPRESENTATION IN CHILD WELFARE PROCEEDINGS.

BE IT ENACTED BY THE LEGISLATURE OF THE STATE OF NEW MEXICO:

     SECTION 1. APPROPRIATION.--One hundred thousand dollars ($100,000) is appropriated from the general fund to the administrative office of the courts for expenditure in fiscal year 2020 to fund the convening of a task force on family representation in child welfare proceedings. Any unexpended or unencumbered balance remaining at the end of fiscal year 2020 shall revert to the general fund.
