AN ACT

MAKING AN APPROPRIATION TO PROVIDE FOR A NEW FACULTY POSITION AT MESALANDS COMMUNITY COLLEGE.

BE IT ENACTED BY THE LEGISLATURE OF THE STATE OF NEW MEXICO:

     SECTION 1. APPROPRIATION.--One hundred ten thousand dollars ($110,000) is appropriated from the general fund to the higher education department for expenditure in fiscal year 2020 for a faculty position at mesalands community college to design and implement an integrated renewable energy technology curriculum. Any unexpended or unencumbered balance remaining at the end of fiscal year 2020 shall revert to the general fund.
