HOUSE BILL 498

has had it under consideration and reports same with recommendation that it DO PASS, amended as follows:

1. On page 6, line 18, strike "qualifying".

     2. On page 6, line 20, strike "for payment of costs or" and on line 22, strike "qualifying" and after "facility", insert "or for payment of costs".

     3. On page 7, line 7, strike "qualifying".

     4. On page 7, line 16, strike "qualifying".

     5. On page 7, line 18, after "on", insert "at least".

     6. On page 8, line 1, strike "qualifying".

     7. On page 8, line 4, strike "qualifying" and after "means", insert a colon and the subparagraph designation "(a)".

     8. On page 8, line 7, strike the period and the closing quotation mark and insert in lieu thereof "; and".

     9. On page 8, between lines 7 and 8, insert the following:

                     "(b) a facility that generates energy in New Mexico that closes and results in at least forty displaced workers."".,

and thence referred to the ENERGY, ENVIRONMENT AND NATURAL RESOURCES COMMITTEE.
