    Your EDUCATION COMMITTEE, to whom has been referred

HOUSE BILL 511

has had it under consideration and reports same with recommendation that it DO PASS, amended as follows:

     1. On page 1, line 15, after "AUTHORITY", insert "; MAKING AN APPROPRIATION".

     2. On page 3, between lines 10 and 11, insert the following new section:

     "SECTION 2. APPROPRIATION.--Three million five hundred thousand dollars ($3,500,000) is appropriated from the general fund to the public education department for expenditure in fiscal year 2020 to be added to the state equalization guarantee distribution. Any unexpended or unencumbered balance remaining at the end of fiscal year 2020 shall revert to the general fund.".,

and thence referred to the STATE GOVERNMENT, ELECTIONS & INDIAN AFFAIRS COMMITTEE.
