SENATE FLOOR AMENDMENT number ___1__ to HOUSE JUDICIARY COMMITTEE SUBSTITUTE FOR HOUSE ENERGY, ENVIRONMENT AND NATURAL RESOURCES COMMITTEE SUBSTITUTE FOR HOUSE BILL 546, as amended

Amendment sponsored by Senator

    1. On page 2, line 8, strike "and".

    2. On page 2, line 11, strike the period and closing quotation mark and insert in lieu thereof a semicolon.

    3. On page 2, between lines 11 and 12, insert the following new subsections:

         "C. "recycled water" or "recycled produced water" means produced water that is reconditioned by a recycling facility permitted by the oil conservation division of the energy, minerals and natural resources department; and

         D. "treated water" or "treated produced water" means produced water that is reconditioned by mechanical or chemical processes into a reusable form."".

    4. On page 5, strike line 10 in its entirety and insert in lieu thereof "recycled water or treated water.".

    5. On page 5, line 11, after the comma, insert "recycled water or treated water,".

    6. On page 5, line 15, after "water", insert ", recycled water or treated water".
