SENATE RULES COMMITTEE SUBSTITUTE FOR
SENATE BILL 22, as amended
has had it under consideration and reports same with recommendation that it DO PASS, amended as follows:
1. Strike Senate Education Committee Amendments 1 through 6 and 10 through 16.
2. On page 27, line 6, strike the comma and insert in lieu thereof "and", strike "awareness" and strike "sensitivity" and insert in lieu thereof "awareness".
3. On page 28, line 2, strike the comma and insert in lieu thereof "and", strike "awareness" and strike "sensitivity" and insert in lieu thereof "awareness".
4. On page 28, line 22, after the period, strike the remainder of the line and strike lines 23 through 25 and insert in lieu thereof:
"The department may transfer funds to the public education department for an approved public provider or may contract with any other eligible provider for the delivery of early pre-kindergarten and pre-kindergarten program services.".
5. On page 29, strike lines 1 and 2 in their entirety.
6. On page 31, line 3, after "of", insert "both half-day and".
