    Your PUBLIC AFFAIRS COMMITTEE, to whom has been referred

SENATE BILL 27

has had it under consideration and reports same with recommendation that it DO PASS, amended as follows:

    1. On page 1, line 14, after "REPORTING", insert "; MAKING AN APPROPRIATION".

    2. On page 4, line 24, after "act", strike the remainder of the line, strike line 25 up to the period and insert in lieu thereof "with reasonable care".

    3. On page 5, line 7, after "acts", strike the remainder of the line, strike line 8 in its entirety, and on line 9, strike "law" and insert in lieu thereof "with reasonable care".

    4. On page 5, between lines 24 and 25, insert the following new section:

    "SECTION 2. APPROPRIATION.--Ninety-six thousand dollars ($96,000) is appropriated from the general fund to the crime victims reparation commission for expenditure in fiscal year 2020 for the child abuse homicide review team. Any unexpended or unencumbered balance remaining at the end of fiscal year 2020 shall revert to the general fund.".,

and thence referred to the FINANCE COMMITTEE.
