AN ACT

MAKING AN APPROPRIATION TO THE BOARD OF REGENTS OF THE UNIVERSITY OF NEW MEXICO FOR PROGRAMS TO COORDINATE NURSING EDUCATION STATEWIDE.

BE IT ENACTED BY THE LEGISLATURE OF THE STATE OF NEW MEXICO:

     SECTION 1. APPROPRIATION.--Three hundred sixty thousand dollars ($360,000) is appropriated from the general fund to the board of regents of the university of New Mexico for expenditure in fiscal year 2020 for the health sciences center to support programs that coordinate nursing education statewide to create a common curriculum and improve outcomes in bachelor of science in nursing programs. Any unexpended or unencumbered balance remaining at the end of fiscal year 2020 shall revert to the general fund.
