AN ACT

MAKING AN APPROPRIATION TO THE BOARD OF REGENTS OF NEW MEXICO STATE UNIVERSITY TO ENABLE THE COOPERATIVE EXTENSION SERVICE AND THE ARROWHEAD CENTER TO ESTABLISH AGRIBUSINESS ACCELERATORS IN CERTAIN COUNTIES.

 

BE IT ENACTED BY THE LEGISLATURE OF THE STATE OF NEW MEXICO:

     SECTION 1. APPROPRIATION.--One million four hundred thousand dollars ($1,400,000) is appropriated from the general fund to the board of regents of New Mexico state university for expenditure in fiscal years 2020 through 2022 for the cooperative extension service and the Arrowhead center to establish agribusiness accelerators in San Juan, McKinley, Cibola, Union, Colfax, Mora, Harding, San Miguel, Quay, Guadalupe, De Baca and Torrance counties. Any unexpended or unencumbered balance remaining at the end of fiscal year 2022 shall revert to the general fund.
