    Your RULES COMMITTEE, to whom has been referred

SENATE BILL 315

has had it under consideration and reports same with recommendation that it DO PASS, amended as follows:

    1. On page 11, line 10, after "arts", insert "and other art disciplines".

    2. On page 11, line 23, strike "and capital".

    3. On page 12, line 13, after "members", insert a period.

    4. On page 12, strike lines 14 through 16, strike line 17 through the period and insert in lieu thereof:

    "Five members shall be appointed by the governor with the advice and consent of the senate, at least three of whom shall be selected from a list of names provided by the New Mexico school for the arts art institute. Four members shall be appointed by the New Mexico legislative council. The governor and the New Mexico legislative council shall consider the education and experience of candidates in the fields of art, education and finance.".

    5. On page 12, line 17, strike "four" and insert in lieu thereof "two".

    6. On page 12 lines 17 and 18, strike "each congressional district" and insert in lieu thereof "the same county".,

and thence referred to the EDUCATION COMMITTEE.
