    Your EDUCATION COMMITTEE, to whom has been referred

SENATE BILL 429

has had it under consideration and reports same with recommendation that it DO PASS, amended as follows:

    1. On page 3, line 5, strike "and" and insert in lieu thereof "or".

    2. On page 4, lines 21 through 24, strike Subsection G in its entirety.

    3. Reletter the succeeding subsection accordingly.

    4. On page 8, line 18, after "a", insert "statewide".

    5. On page 11, line 18, after the period, strike the remainder of the line, strike all of line 19 and strike line 20 through the period.

    6. On page 13, line 22, after "may", strike the remainder of the line and strike line 23 up to the period and insert in lieu thereof "be appealed to the district court as provided in Section 39-3-1.1 NMSA 1978".,

and thence referred to the JUDICIARY COMMITTEE.
