AN ACT

MAKING AN APPROPRIATION TO THE INDIAN AFFAIRS DEPARTMENT TO SUPPORT THE EASTERN NAVAJO FAIR AND RODEO IN CROWNPOINT IN ITS PROMOTION OF NATIVE AMERICAN CULTURE AND ECONOMIC DEVELOPMENT.

 

BE IT ENACTED BY THE LEGISLATURE OF THE STATE OF NEW MEXICO:

     SECTION 1. APPROPRIATION.--One hundred thousand dollars ($100,000) is appropriated from the general fund to the Indian affairs department for expenditure in fiscal year 2020 for the eastern Navajo fair and rodeo in Crownpoint in its promotion of Native American culture and economic development. Any unexpended or unencumbered balance remaining at the end of fiscal year 2020 shall revert to the general fund.
