AN ACT

MAKING AN APPROPRIATION TO THE LOCAL GOVERNMENT DIVISION OF THE DEPARTMENT OF FINANCE AND ADMINISTRATION TO CONTRACT WITH A PROGRAM TO DEVELOP AND EXPAND COMMUNITY MEDIA ACCESS.

BE IT ENACTED BY THE LEGISLATURE OF THE STATE OF NEW MEXICO:

     SECTION 1. APPROPRIATION.--One million dollars ($1,000,000) is appropriated from the general fund to the local government division of the department of finance and administration for expenditure in fiscal year 2020 to contract with a program that provides public access and local origination programs statewide to develop and expand community media access. Any unexpended or unencumbered balance remaining at the end of fiscal year 2020 shall revert to the general fund.
