AN ACT

MAKING AN APPROPRIATION TO THE BOARD OF REGENTS OF THE UNIVERSITY OF NEW MEXICO TO IMPROVE CHILD WELL-BEING INITIATIVES.

BE IT ENACTED BY THE LEGISLATURE OF THE STATE OF NEW MEXICO:

     SECTION 1. APPROPRIATION.--One million eight hundred thousand dollars ($1,800,000) is appropriated from the general fund to the board of regents of the university of New Mexico for expenditure in fiscal year 2020 to improve and expand child well-being initiatives housed at the university. Any unexpended or unencumbered balance remaining at the end of fiscal year 2020 shall revert to the general fund.
