Mr. President:
Your EDUCATION COMMITTEE, to whom has been referred
HOUSE BILL 92, as amended
has had it under consideration and reports same with recommendation that it DO PASS, amended as follows:
1. Strike House Education Committee Amendments 3, 9, 12 and
22.
2. On page 2, between lines 1 and 2, insert the following:
"A. "department-approved teacher preparation program"
means a department-approved teacher preparation program at a public
post-secondary educational institution or tribal college;".
3. Reletter the succeeding subsections accordingly.
4. On page 2, line 13, after "have", insert "a departmen-tapproved teacher preparation program and have".
5. On page 3, line 5, strike "master's or bachelor's level"
and insert in lieu thereof "department-approved teacher preparation
program".
6. On page 3, line 21, strike "master's or bachelor's level"
and insert in lieu thereof "department-approved teacher preparation
program".
7. On page 5, strike lines 13 and 14 in their entirety and
insert in lieu thereof:
"C. not hold a level one, two or three-A teaching
license.".
