HOUSE JUDICIARY COMMITTEE SUBSTITUTE FOR
HOUSE BILL 100
has had it under consideration and reports same with recommendation that it DO PASS, amended as follows:
1. On page 2, strike lines 2 through 4 in their entirety.
2. On page 2, strike lines 7 and 8 in their entirety.
3. On page 3, between lines 23 and 24, insert the following new subsection:
"H. "insurance producer" means a person required to be licensed in this state to sell, solicit or negotiate insurance;".
4. Reletter subsections to correspond with these amendments.
5. On page 4, line 17, strike "a broker or an agent" and insert in lieu thereof "an insurance producer" and on lines 17 and 18, strike "broker or the agent" and insert in lieu thereof "insurance producer".
6. On page 13, line 7, strike "brokers" and insert in lieu thereof "insurance producers".
7. On page 14, line 25, after "board", insert ", in coordination with insurance producers appointed and compensated by the insurance industry,".
