AN ACT

MAKING AN APPROPRIATION TO THE BOARD OF REGENTS OF THE UNIVERSITY OF NEW MEXICO TO CONVENE A STATEWIDE WORK GROUP TO DEVELOP A STRATEGIC PLAN TO SEEK AND TO APPLY FOR A MOBILITY FOR ALL PILOT PROGRAM GRANT FROM THE UNITED STATES DEPARTMENT OF TRANSPORTATION.

 

BE IT ENACTED BY THE LEGISLATURE OF THE STATE OF NEW MEXICO:

     SECTION 1. APPROPRIATION.--Forty thousand dollars ($40,000) is appropriated from the general fund to the board of regents of the university of New Mexico for expenditure in fiscal year 2021 for the university of New Mexico center for development and disability to convene a statewide work group to develop a strategic plan to seek and to apply for a mobility for all pilot program grant from the United States department of transportation. The statewide work group shall include individuals representing advocacy groups, stakeholders and state agencies, including the department of transportation, the department of health, the human services department, the aging and long-term services department, the public education department, the workforce solutions department, the veterans' services department, the vocational rehabilitation division of the public education department and the developmental disabilities planning council. Any unexpended or unencumbered balance remaining at the end of fiscal year 2021 shall revert to the general fund.
