    Your FINANCE COMMITTEE, to whom has been referred

SENATE BILL 240

has had it under consideration and reports same with recommendation that it DO PASS, amended as follows:

    1. On page 4, before line 1, insert the following new section:

    "SECTION 2. APPLICABILITY.--The provisions of this act apply to an ordinance imposing a water and sanitation gross receipts tax that is approved by voters on or after July 1, 2020.".

    2. Renumber the succeeding section accordingly.
