HOUSE FLOOR AMENDMENT number ___1__ to HOUSE MEMORIAL 9

    1. On page 2, line 2, after "solar", insert ", geothermal, biomass".

    2. On page 3, line 5, after "office", insert "and the economic development department".

    3. On page 3, between lines 14 and 15, insert the following:

    "BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the strategic plan pursue investment opportunities with returns at or above market rates for funds subject to the Uniform Prudent Investor Act and that for funds that seek economically targeted investments, the strategic plan pursue investments that maximize benefit to taxpayers, including investment opportunities with returns at or above market rates; and".

    4. On page 3, line 25, after "projects", insert ", which may include a request for information soliciting responses from private investment funds capable of managing those investment vehicles".

    5. On page 5, line 13, after the second comma, insert "the economic development department, the energy, minerals and natural resources department,".
