    Your JUDICIARY COMMITTEE, to whom has been referred

 

HOUSE BILL 113

 

has had it under consideration and reports same with recommendation that it DO PASS, amended as follows:

 

     1. On page 5, line 5, after the semicolon, strike the remainder of the line, strike lines 6 through 11 in their entirety and insert in lieu thereof:

 

     "T. "military status" means an individual who is serving in the armed forces of the United States or in an active reserve component of the armed forces of the United States, including the national guard; and

 

     U. "veteran status" means an individual who has been discharged from membership of the armed forces of the United States, including the national guard, but does not include an individual who received a bad conduct discharge or a dishonorable discharge."".

 

     2. On page 5, lines 22 and 23, strike "military or veteran status" and insert in lieu thereof "military status, veteran status".

 

     3. On page 6, lines 9 and 10, strike "military or veteran status" and insert in lieu thereof "military status, veteran status".

 

     4. On page 6, line 17, strike "military or veteran status" and insert in lieu thereof "military status, veteran status".

 

     5. On page 7, line 5, strike "military or veteran status" and insert in lieu thereof "military status, veteran status".

 

     6. On page 7, line 16, strike "military or veteran status" and insert in lieu thereof "military status, veteran status".

 

     7. On page 7, line 25, strike "military or veteran status" and insert in lieu thereof "military status, veteran status".

 

     8. On page 8, line 9, strike "military or veteran status" and insert in lieu thereof "military status, veteran status".

 

     9. On page 8, lines 22 and 23, strike "military or veteran status" and insert in lieu thereof "military status, veteran status".

 

     10. On page 9, line 9, strike "military or veteran status" and insert in lieu thereof "military status, veteran status".

 

     11. On page 9, line 25 and page 10, line 1, strike "military or veteran status" and insert in lieu thereof "military status, veteran status".
