Mr. President:

    Your CONSERVATION COMMITTEE, to whom has been referred

     HOUSE AGRICULTURE & WATER RESOURCES COMMITTEE SUBSTITUTE FOR HOUSE BILL 241

has had it under consideration and reports same with recommendation that it DO PASS, amended as follows:

    1. On page 1, line 11, after "THAT", insert ", FOR A LIMITED PERIOD OF TIME," and on line 13, strike "CERTAIN" and before the period, insert "WITH FEWER THAN THREE HUNDRED SERVICE CONNECTIONS".

    2. On page 2, line 15, strike "Ten" and insert in lieu thereof the following:

         "B. Prior to July 1, 2025, ten".

    3. On page 2, line 17, before the period, insert "with fewer than three hundred service connections".

    4. On page 2, line 25, after the period, insert "Any dedicated funds remaining unspent on June 30, 2025 may be used pursuant to Subsection A of this section.".

    5. Reletter the succeeding subsections accordingly.,

and thence referred to the FINANCE COMMITTEE.
