    Your FINANCE COMMITTEE, to whom has been referred


SENATE BILL 125


has had it under consideration and reports same with recommendation that it DO PASS, amended as follows:


1. On page 1, line 12, after "EMPLOYEES", insert ", CERTAIN HIGHER EDUCATION EMPLOYEES AND LICENSED AND NONLICENSED EMPLOYEES OF SCHOOL DISTRICTS OR STATE-CHARTERED CHARTER SCHOOLS; PROVIDING FOR A TWO PERCENT ANNUAL MINIMUM WAGE INCREASE".


    2. On page 1, line 18, before "person", insert "state employee, licensed and nonlicensed employee of a school district and state-chartered charter school and every".


    3. On page 1, line 23, strike "four hundred" and strike lines 24 and 25 in their entirety.


    4. On page 2, line 1, strike "rate equal to at least" and after the period, insert the following new subsections:


         "B. Any salary increases pursuant to the provisions of Subsection A of this section shall be effective the first full pay period beginning on or after July 1, 2022.


         C. Beginning July 1, 2023 and each subsequent July 1, the minimum wage rate for state employees shall increase by two percent annually.".
