AN ACT

MAKING AN APPROPRIATION TO THE RURAL LIBRARIES ENDOWMENT FUND TO CARRY OUT THE PROVISIONS OF SECTIONS 18-18-1 THROUGH 18-18-4 NMSA 1978 (BEING LAWS 2019, CHAPTER 165, SECTIONS 1 THROUGH 4, AS AMENDED).

BE IT ENACTED BY THE LEGISLATURE OF THE STATE OF NEW MEXICO:

     SECTION 1. APPROPRIATION.--Ten million dollars ($10,000,000) is appropriated from the general fund to the rural libraries endowment fund for expenditure in fiscal year 2023 and subsequent fiscal years to carry out the provisions of Sections 18-18-1 through 18-18-4 NMSA 1978. Any unexpended or unencumbered balance remaining at the end of a fiscal year shall not revert to the general fund.
