AN ACT

MAKING AN APPROPRIATION TO THE WORKFORCE SOLUTIONS DEPARTMENT TO SUPPORT TRAINING AND CASE MANAGEMENT PROGRAMS FOR AT-RISK YOUTH.

BE IT ENACTED BY THE LEGISLATURE OF THE STATE OF NEW MEXICO:

     SECTION 1. APPROPRIATION.--Fifty thousand dollars ($50,000) is appropriated from the general fund to the workforce solutions department for expenditure in fiscal year 2023 to support training and case management programs that provide at-risk youth with life skills training, work experience, academic development and assistance in preparing for the high school equivalency credential examination. Any unexpended or unencumbered balance remaining at the end of fiscal year 2023 shall revert to the general fund.
