AN ACT

MAKING AN APPROPRIATION TO THE LOCAL GOVERNMENT DIVISION OF THE DEPARTMENT OF FINANCE AND ADMINISTRATION FOR THE CITY OF ALBUQUERQUE TO WIDEN PASEO DEL NORTE IN NORTHWEST ALBUQUERQUE.

BE IT ENACTED BY THE LEGISLATURE OF THE STATE OF NEW MEXICO:

     SECTION 1. APPROPRIATION.--Fifteen million dollars ($15,000,000) is appropriated from the general fund to the local government division of the department of finance and administration for expenditure in fiscal years 2023 and 2024 for the city of Albuquerque for acquisition of rights of way, planning, design and construction and to match other state funds to widen paseo del Norte from two lanes to four lanes in northwest Albuquerque in Bernalillo county. Any unexpended or unencumbered balance remaining at the end of fiscal year 2024 shall revert to the general fund.
