    Your CONSUMER & PUBLIC AFFAIRS COMMITTEE, to whom has been referred

 

HOUSE BILL 218

 

has had it under consideration and reports same with recommendation that it DO PASS, amended as follows:

 

 

     1. On page 2, line 2, strike the period and insert in lieu thereof "; and provided further that a rural electric cooperative that chooses to offer such a rate prior to its next general rate adjustment may recover any reasonable costs of implementing that rate through an existing rate adjustment mechanism or charge until its next general rate adjustment."

    

     2. On page 4, line 10, strike "and".

 

     3. On page 4, line 12, strike the period and insert in lieu thereof "; and".

 

     4. On page 4, between lines 12 and 13, insert the following new paragraph:

 

                "(3) were developed after soliciting and considering nonbinding recommendations on the design and implementation of the rates from interested parties.".,

 

 

and thence referred to the JUDICIARY COMMITTEE.
