    Your HEALTH AND PUBLIC AFFAIRS COMMITTEE, to whom has been referred

SENATE BILL 5

has had it under consideration and reports same with recommendation that it DO PASS, amended as follows:

    1. On page 4, line 17, strike the closing quotation mark.

    2. On page 4, between lines 17 and 18, insert the following new subsection:

         "F. The department is authorized to promulgate rules to implement the statewide public health and climate program."".

    3. On page 4, line 21, strike "fiscal year 2024" and insert in lieu thereof "each of fiscal years 2024 through 2028".

    4. On page 5, line 1, strike "2024" and insert in lieu thereof "2028".,

and thence referred to the FINANCE COMMITTEE.
