Your TAX, BUSINESS AND TRANSPORTATION COMMITTEE, to whom has been referred
SENATE BILL 432
has had it under consideration and reports same with recommendation that it DO PASS, amended as follows:
1. On page 6, line 7, strike "and".
2. On page 6, between lines 7 and 8, insert the following new subsection:
"J. "utility" means an investor-owned electric public utility certified by the commission to provide retail electric service in New Mexico pursuant to the Public Utility Act but does not include a public utility owned and operated by a municipal corporation or a cooperative organized pursuant to the Rural Electric Cooperative Act; and".
3. Reletter the succeeding subsection accordingly.
4. On page 9, line 13, strike "January" and insert in lieu thereof "July".
