0012|     MAKING AN APPROPRIATION TO STUDY THE FEASIBILITY OF ESTABLISHING

0015|     BE IT ENACTED BY THE LEGISLATURE OF THE STATE OF NEW MEXICO:
    |
0016|       Section 1.  APPROPRIATION.--One hundred thousand dollars
    |
0017|     ($100,000) is appropriated from the general fund to the New
    |
0018|     Mexico office of Indian affairs for expenditure in fiscal year
    |
0019|     1997 for the purpose of studying the feasibility of establishing
    |
0020|     a Navajo rural school district.  Any unexpended or unencumbered
    |
0021|     balance remaining at the end of fiscal year 1997 shall revert to
    |
0022|     the general fund.
