0012|     MAKING AN APPROPRIATION FOR RANGE IMPROVEMENT TASK FORCE

0013|     PROGRAMS AT NEW MEXICO STATE UNIVERSITY.

0015|     BE IT ENACTED BY THE LEGISLATURE OF THE STATE OF NEW MEXICO:
    |
0016|       Section 1. APPROPRIATION.--Seventy-five thousand dollars
    |
0017|     ($75,000) is appropriated from the general fund to the board of
    |
0018|     regents of New Mexico state university for expenditure in fiscal
    |
0019|     year 1997 by the cooperative extension service for the purpose
    |
0020|     of hiring additional staff and meeting additional operating
    |
0021|     expenses to conduct research and obtain scientific information
    |
0022|     for range improvement task force programs.  Any unexpended or
    |
0023|     unencumbered balance remaining at the end of fiscal year 1997
    |
0024|     shall revert to the general fund.
