0012|     MAKING AN APPROPRIATION FOR INDEPENDENT LIVING SERVICES FOR

0013|     PERSONS WITH DISABILITIES.

0015|     BE IT ENACTED BY THE LEGISLATURE OF THE STATE OF NEW MEXICO:
    |
0016|       Section 1.  APPROPRIATION.--Two hundred thousand dollars
    |
0017|     ($200,000) is appropriated from the general fund to the
    |
0018|     vocational rehabilitation division of the state department of
    |
0019|     public education for expenditure in fiscal year 1997 to purchase
    |
0020|     equipment, supplies, home modifications and other related
    |
0021|     services that are unavailable through other resources for
    |
0022|     persons with disabilities to maintain or promote individual
    |
0023|     independence.  Any unexpended or unencumbered balance remaining
    |
0024|     at the end of fiscal year 1997 shall revert to the general fund.
